    Why we love Rving

No packing or unpacking. When we arrive anywhere, we know exactly where everything is.

We have all the comforts of home no matter where we go, with no surprises. The bed is always soft, the refrigerator is always on and stocked with the foods we like, the bathroom is always clean. The washer/dryer is right in the bathroom, ready to use at any time--no schlepping to a Laundromat.

No flights to catch, lines to go through at airport, car rental or hotel. (We almost never find a line at a campground.) No lost luggage, or worries about anything being confiscated!

Yes, we usually book campgrounds ahead to be sure there is a space for us, but we don't have to book flights or car rentals. We can leave when we want to and plan our arrival when we want much easier than when flying, taking a train or a bus. We can decide to travel four six hour days to get somewhere, or five five hour days, or six four hour days. It's up to us! Or we can stop in between and just relax. And campgrounds (as far as I know) never overbook!

We avoid rush hour whenever possible, thus driving is more relaxing. The seats while riding are much more comfortable than any airplane, train or bus! We can stop for lunch and either eat in a restaurant (Cracker Barrel always has a place for us, as do the many truck stops with national chain restaurants) or make lunch from what's in the kitchen.

Do you have a special reason why you prefer motorhoming to other forms of travel? I would love to hear about them. Email me!
